Integrations
Connect external AI assistants and your address book to Locari — so you can handle rental tasks directly from the tools you already use.
Under Settings → Integrations you connect Locari to external tools: AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT gain direct access to your listings, applicants, and documents. The address book connection syncs your contacts to iPhone, Mac, and Android.
What the AI integration does: Your AI assistant can read Locari data and execute actions — for example evaluate an applicant or edit a listing — using the same command set Locari uses internally. What you decide: Which assistant you grant access to, and you can disconnect any connection with one click at any time.
Common Tasks
- Connect an AI assistant to Locari
- View and disconnect active connections
- Sync address book with a device
- Revoke a device password
How To
Connect an AI assistant
- Open Settings → Integrations → AI Integrations.
- Select your assistant — for example Claude or ChatGPT.
- Follow the setup guide: paste the Locari URL or copy the configuration file.
- Your browser opens for sign-in — no tokens or passwords needed (OAuth).
Example: The Bauer family uses Claude Desktop and asks: "Which applicants for Musterstr. 12 meet all criteria?" — Claude replies with the current evaluation list pulled directly from Locari.
What the AI assistant can see: Listings, applicants, documents, viewing appointments, and notes in your account. What you control: You grant access and can revoke it at any time under "Manage connections".
Manage connections
- Open Settings → Integrations → AI Integrations.
- The table shows all active connections with client name and time of last use.
- Click the disconnect icon to the right of a connection to revoke access immediately.
Sync address book
- Open Settings → Integrations → Address Book Connections.
- Click Create device password and give it a name (e.g. "iPhone Müller").
- Follow the setup guide for your device: iOS via QR code, macOS and Android via server URL.
- The password is shown only once — copy it immediately.

Privacy and Security
AI integrations — OAuth model: The connection between your AI assistant and Locari runs exclusively via OAuth. Your Locari password is never transmitted to the assistant. The assistant receives a time-limited access token that is revoked immediately when you disconnect the connection.
What the assistant can see: Only the data in your account — no access to other Locari customers. Rights correspond to the role of the signed-in user.
Device passwords (address book): Each device gets its own password. If a device is lost, revoke only that device's password — other devices remain unaffected.
Permissions and Multi-Select
- Visible to: all team members of the owner account.
- Set up an AI connection: any team member for their own user account.
- Disconnect an AI connection: only the owner of that connection — takes effect immediately.
- Create a device password: any team member for their own user account.
- Revoke a device password: administrators only — the action is irreversible.
