Tasks (Listing)
Create, prioritise, and complete listing-specific tasks — all team members see the same task status for this rental case.
This is the Tasks tab on a listing (case level). It shows all tasks assigned directly to this rental case. For tasks on a single applicant, see Applicant Tasks. For the global task overview, see Tasks — Overview.
On this page your team manages all to-dos that relate to the listing as a whole — for example "Submit energy certificate", "Update listing photos", or "Inform landlord about applicant status". Listing tasks are visible to all team members who work on this listing, and they persist even when individual applicants are removed from the case.
What Locari does automatically: Nothing — there is no AI involvement in tasks. All tasks are created and completed manually by your team. What you decide: Which tasks to create, who completes them, and what priority they have.
Common Tasks
For applicant-specific tasks: Applicant Tasks. Across all listings: Tasks — Overview — filter by entity, priority, and due date.
How To
Create a task
- Open the listing — select the Tasks tab.
- Click + Task — the quick-create form opens.
- Enter a title, choose a priority (Low / Normal / High / Urgent), and optionally set a due date.
- Example: "Submit energy certificate — due: 20 May 2026 — priority: High."
- Save — the task appears immediately in the list and is visible to all team members.
An important difference from applicant tasks: listing tasks are assigned to the rental case as a whole. They persist when individual applicants are deleted, and only disappear when the listing itself is deleted.
Complete a task
- Find the task in the list.
- Click the checkmark button to the left of the task title.
- The task is marked as complete and disappears from the default view.
Views and Fields
Task list
Each row shows:
- Title of the task
- Priority — colour-coded badge (Low / Normal / High / Urgent)
- Due date — overdue tasks are highlighted in red
- Status — Open / Complete
- Actions — Mark as complete / Edit / Delete
"Show completed" toggle
By default only open tasks are displayed. The toggle in the top right reveals completed tasks. The listing remembers the setting for your current session.
Link to global task list
The All tasks button in the top right leads to the global task list, where you can filter tasks across all listings, applicants, and properties.
Audit and History
Tasks are not recorded in the History tab of the listing. Deleted tasks cannot be restored.
Permissions and Multi-Select
- Visible to: all team members of the owner account with access to this listing.
- Create and edit: all members.
- Complete: all members.
- Delete: all members can delete their own tasks; administrators can delete all tasks.
- Tasks across all entities: Tasks — Overview — filter by entity, priority, and due date.
Tip: Use the Urgent priority for listing deadlines — for example "Submit energy certificate by 20 May 2026". This way the whole team sees immediately which tasks cannot wait.
