Renewal (Listing)
Extend an active or expired listing — choose a duration, pay securely, and continue the listing without interruption.
This is the Renewal tab on a listing (case level). It is only accessible for listings with status Active or Expired. For general billing questions and subscription management, see Billing & Subscription.
On this page you extend the runtime of an existing listing. You choose a renewal period, complete payment securely, and the listing stays active without interruption. For expired listings, the rental case is automatically reactivated once payment is complete.
What Locari does automatically: Identify your existing plan tier (Basis, Plus) as the basis for renewal options, and reactivate the listing immediately after successful payment. What you decide: Which renewal period to choose and whether to renew now.

How To
Renew a listing
- Open the listing — select the Renewal tab.
- For active listings you see the remaining runtime, e.g. "Expires 15 June 2026 (34 days remaining)".
- Select the desired renewal period, e.g. 1 month or 3 months.
- Confirm the terms and cancellation policy.
- Click Renew now — you are redirected to the secure payment provider Stripe and returned to the Locari overview after completion.
- After successful payment the listing runtime is extended immediately.
Example: Listing "Musterstraße 12, 850 €/month" — expires in 5 days. You choose a 1-month renewal, complete payment, and the listing runs for a further 30 days. New applications continue to arrive.
Reactivate an expired listing
- Open a listing with status Expired.
- Select the Renewal tab.
- Choose a renewal period and complete payment.
- Locari reactivates the listing automatically — all existing applicants, emails, and notes are preserved.
Views and Fields
Runtime display (active listings)
- Current expiry date (e.g. "15 June 2026")
- Remaining days (e.g. "34 days remaining")
Renewal cards
Each card shows:
- Period — e.g. 1 month, 3 months
- Price (one-time payment)
- Included portal integrations — depending on your plan tier
- Highlighted option — recommended renewal period
Return page after payment
After completing payment with Stripe you are returned to Locari. If processing is still running, you see a confirmation page with an automatic redirect. The listing is typically reactivated within a few seconds.
Audit and History
Every renewal is recorded in the History tab of the listing with timestamp and new expiry date. Payment details are accessible in Billing & Subscription.
Permissions and Multi-Select
- Visible to: all team members of the owner account.
- Perform renewal: only members with the Manage billing permission — typically administrators.
- Renewal not available for: listings with status Draft or Completed.
- For plan changes and payment methods: Billing & Subscription.
Tip: Renew when 7 days remain — this avoids any interruption to ongoing application conversations and ensures Locari can continue replying to new emails automatically.
