Clarifications (Listing)
Track all automatic clarification requests for a listing at a glance, review open items, and stop or add questions manually.
This is the Clarifications tab on a listing (case level). It shows all clarification requests Locari has sent for every applicant in this listing. For the applicant-specific view of a single person, see Applicant Details — Clarifications.
On this page you see at a glance which open items Locari is currently resolving for all applicants in this listing. Missing details, contradictory documents, or unusual values are automatically queried — you keep the overview and only step in when needed.
What Locari does automatically: Detect contradictions between self-reported details and documents, identify missing required fields, and send clarification requests by email to the relevant applicant. What you decide: Stop individual requests, add your own questions, or manually mark an answer as sufficient.

For clarifications on a single applicant, go to the Applicant List — bulk rejection, filter by phase and status, sort by score.
How To
Review open clarifications
- Open the listing — select the Clarifications tab.
- A badge shows the number of open items. Example: The Müller family has 2 open clarifications about proof of income and employment duration.
- Click a card to read the question and any answer so far.
Stop a clarification
- Open the card for the relevant clarification.
- Click Cancel — Locari will not send any further reminders for this question.
- The clarification remains visible with status "Cancelled" in the history.
What the AI does: Locari sends up to three reminders per open clarification before marking the question as unanswered. What you decide: You can close any question at any time or accept an answer as sufficient.
Add your own question
- Click + Clarification.
- Select an applicant from the drop-down and enter the question text.
- Click Send — Locari sends the question by email on behalf of the listing.
Views and Fields
Clarifications list
Each card shows:
- Applicant name and email
- Question text
- Status: Open / Answered / Cancelled
- Date of the last reminder
- Answer text (once available)
A filter tab separates Open from Answered clarifications. A badge counts open items in each tab.
Status meanings
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Applicant has not yet replied |
| Answered | Reply received — AI has evaluated it |
| Cancelled | Closed manually or automatically |
Audit and History
Every clarification and every answer is recorded in the History tab of the listing. Retention follows the GDPR deletion deadline of the listing. When an applicant is deleted, their clarifications are permanently removed.
Permissions and Multi-Select
- Visible to: all team members of the owner account.
- Stop or add clarifications: all members.
- Delete an applicant (removes related clarifications): administrators only — the action is irreversible.
- For clarifications across multiple listings: Applicant List — bulk rejection, filter by phase and status, sort by score.
