Registration and Setup Wizard
Create your account, confirm your email, and complete the setup wizard — ready to go in under 10 minutes.
This page covers setting up your Locari account: registration, email confirmation, and the guided setup wizard that lays the foundation for your first rental.
What Locari sets up in the background: Create your personal account, prepare the workspace and mailbox, calibrate the AI for your workspace. What you configure: Workspace name, mailbox address, quiet hours, optional contact synchronisation.

How to
Register your account
- Open locari.de/auth/sign-up.
- Enter your email address and a password with at least 8 characters.
- Tick the "I accept the terms of service" checkbox.
- Click Sign up — Locari sends you a confirmation email.
- Click Confirm account in the email — you are taken directly to the setup wizard.
The confirmation email comes from noreply@locari.de. Check your spam folder too. Use the Resend link button on the confirmation page to request a new link.
Setup wizard
After email confirmation, Locari guides you through the following steps:
- Profile — enter first name and last name (used on documents and emails).
- Password (only shown if none has been set yet) — set a secure password.
- Create workspace — enter a name (e.g. "Müller Properties") and choose the account type: Individual or Business.
- Set up mailbox — choose a Locari email address for incoming applications (e.g.
my-properties@locari.de). Applicants forward enquiries to this address. - Connect messenger (optional) — set up the Locari app on your smartphone for push notifications about new applications.
- Time zone and quiet hours — confirm your time zone, set times when Locari should not send messages (e.g. 10 pm–8 am, weekends).
- Contacts (optional) — sync contacts with your mobile device.
After the last step you land directly on your workspace dashboard.
Create a team workspace
If you use the system together with colleagues:
- In the setup wizard at the Create workspace step, enter the organisation name.
- After setup: Settings → Team → Invite member.
- Enter the email address and select a role.
Invited people receive an invitation email and can then sign in directly.

Views and Fields
Registration form
- Email address — your login email; not publicly visible
- Password — at least 8 characters
- Terms of service — required field; Locari logs the timestamp and IP address of acceptance for legal records
Setup wizard — fields per step
Profile:
- First name and last name (required)
Workspace:
- Workspace name (required, e.g. "Müller Properties Ltd")
- Account type: Individual or Business
- Business details (optional, for Business type)
Mailbox:
- Locari mailbox address (required for active use, e.g.
my-properties@locari.de) - Address availability is checked in real time
Settings:
- Time zone (default: Europe/Berlin)
- Quiet hours: from/to time, select days of the week
Security
For enhanced security, Locari recommends setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA):
- Settings → Security → Set up MFA
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy)
- Enter the one-time 6-digit code and confirm
Reset password: on the sign-in page click Forgot password? — Locari sends a reset link to your registered email address.

Audit and History
Acceptance of the terms of service is logged at workspace creation:
- Timestamp of acceptance
- IP address and browser (user agent)
- Version of the terms accepted
- Confirmation email with PDF sent to your email address
This record is stored for the entire lifetime of the account and cannot be deleted.
Deleting an account does not remove the terms acceptance record from Locari's archives — statutory retention obligations remain in force.
Permissions and Multi-select
- Register an account: anyone with a valid email address.
- Complete the workspace setup wizard: only the workspace owner.
- Invite team members: only administrators and owners — after the initial setup wizard is complete.
- Manage MFA: every user for their own account.
- Delete account: only the owner — the action is irreversible; contact the Locari team to proceed.
- Multiple workspaces: Settings → Team — switch workspace, view roles and members.
