Team Management
Invite team members, define roles, and control access to listings and applicants precisely.
Under Settings > Members you invite colleagues and define who can perform which actions in Locari. Locari has three roles: Owner, Administrator, and Member.
The Members page shows two cards: active members and pending invitations. Invitations not yet accepted appear in the second card — they can be renewed or removed.

How to
Invite a Member
- Open Settings > Members tab.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the email address and choose a role (Administrator or Member).
- Click Send Invitation.
The invited member receives an email with an invitation link. After clicking the link they can sign in or create a new account — they immediately have access to the workspace.
Example: Hausverwaltung Müller GmbH invites employee Anna Schmidt as a Member. Anna can see all applicants but cannot create new listings.
Change Role
- Settings > Members tab → select a member in the table.
- Click the current role and choose a new role.
- Confirm the change.
Roles can only be changed by owners or administrators — and only to roles equal to or below your own role (no administrator can promote another administrator to owner).
Remove Member
- Settings > Members tab → select a member in the table.
- Choose Remove from Workspace and confirm.
The member loses access immediately. Their personal Locari account remains — they can be re-invited if needed.
Ownership Transfer
- Settings > Members tab → select the desired member.
- Choose Transfer Ownership, confirm with password.
The ownership transfer is irreversible. As the previous owner you are automatically downgraded to Administrator.
Views and Fields
Card: Active Members
Visible for each member:
- Name and email address
- Role (Owner / Administrator / Member)
- Join date
- Actions (change role, remove from workspace) — visible depending on own permission
Card: Pending Invitations
Visible for each invitation:
- Email address of the invitee
- Assigned role
- Invitation date
- Actions: renew invitation, remove invitation

Audit and History
All member actions (invitation, joining, role change, removal) are recorded in the workspace activity history.
Examples from the log:
- "Max invited applicant Wagner family to viewing"
- "Anna edited listing Musterstrasse 5"
- "Locari replied to 5 new emails"
Removing a member takes effect immediately — there is no further confirmation after the dialog. Review open actions (e.g. ongoing viewings) before removing a member.
Permissions and Multi-select
- Invite members: owners and administrators only — with the restriction that administrators can assign a maximum role of "Administrator".
- Change roles: owners and administrators only — limited to roles ≤ their own role.
- Remove members: owners and administrators only.
- Ownership transfer: owner only — the action is irreversible.
- Inviting multiple members in bulk is possible via individual invitations (one email per invitation). For an overview of all active members and pending invitations: Members tab — table with filter by name and email.
