Tasks
Create, assign, and track applicant-specific tasks — directly from the applicant detail view without losing context.
This is the Tasks tab on the applicant detail view. For the global Tasks feature across all entities see Tasks. It opens from the Applicant Detail View.
On this tab you manage tasks assigned directly to this applicant — such as appointment confirmations, call-back reminders, or document follow-up requests. All tasks also appear in the global tasks view and can be filtered there.
Tasks on this tab are applicant-specific (entity_type = 'tenant'). This means they are created in the context of this applicant and appear both here and in the global task list — ideal when multiple team members are working on different applications in parallel.

How To
Create a task
- Open the Tasks tab → click Quick create (plus icon).
- Enter title, due date, and optionally a responsible team member.
- Save — the task appears in the list and in the global tasks dashboard.
Examples (applicant-specific):
- "Call back Müller family — confirm viewing appointment (by 20 May)"
- "Request SCHUFA document — deadline: 5 working days"
- "Align decision internally — board meeting 22 May"
Applicant-specific behaviour: a task on this tab stays linked to the applicant. It appears in the global tasks dashboard with a filter "Applicant: Müller family", so all open tasks for this applicant are visible at a glance — regardless of which team member created them. If the applicant is deleted, the task link is removed but the tasks themselves remain in the global dashboard.
Mark a task as complete
- Click the checkbox on the task row.
- The task is immediately marked as complete and hidden from the open list.
Show completed tasks
- Activate the Show completed toggle (top right).
- Completed tasks appear greyed out below the open ones.
Switch to the global task list
- Click All tasks (button top right).
- You are taken to the global tasks view — filterable by entity type, due date, and team member.

Typical use cases
Tasks on this tab work particularly well for:
- Post-viewing follow-up: "Collect feedback from viewing on 19 May — deadline: 21 May"
- Document request with deadline: "Request SCHUFA (German credit report) — deadline: 5 working days"
- Internal alignment before decision: "Check with owner Mr Bauer — by Friday"
Tasks you create here also appear on the dashboard of any team member they are assigned to.
Permissions and Multi-Select
- Visible to: all team members of the owner account.
- Create and edit tasks: all team members.
- Delete tasks: all team members — the action is irreversible.
- Manage tasks across all applicants: Global Tasks Feature — filter by entity, due date, and assignee.
