You don't have to type to run Locari. Send it a voice message over WhatsApp and it turns it into an action. This is especially handy when you are out and about — for example, to capture your impression as a note right after a viewing while you are still standing at the door.
What Locari does with your voice message: It transcribes the recording (in German, in a data-protection-compliant region within the EU/Germany), understands your request, and runs the matching action — for example a note on an applicant. What you decide: What you say. For emails, rejections or deletions, Locari asks for your confirmation first, even with a voice message.
Common Tasks
How to
Send a voice message
- Open the WhatsApp chat with Locari.
- Press and hold the microphone icon and speak your request in your own words.
- Release to send. Locari transcribes it and replies with a short confirmation of the action it ran.
Example: you say "Note on the Miller family: very likeable, wants to move in on 1 July" — Locari adds this note on the applicant and confirms it.
Dictate a note after a viewing
Right after an appointment your impression is freshest. Instead of trying to remember it, just speak it:
- Send a voice message like "On the viewing of the flat on Station Road with Mr. Weber: brought all documents, seemed very interested."
- Locari assigns the note to the right applicant and case and saves it.
- The note appears immediately on the applicant in the app — visible to your team. More under Notes.
When the recording wasn't recognised
If a recording is too quiet, there was too much background noise, or no speech was detected, Locari does not guess — it gives you a clear message and asks you to repeat. That way no wrong action is ever derived from an unclear recording.
Speak in a quiet environment where possible, and name the applicant or listing — that helps Locari find the right case reliably. If anything stays unclear, it would rather ask than guess.
Notes
- Voice messages are processed for transcription in a data-protection-compliant region within the EU/Germany.
- An action triggered by voice behaves exactly like a typed one: it lands in the same tables and is visible to your team.
- Sensitive steps (email to an applicant, deletion, cancellation) require your explicit confirmation even by voice message — see Security and Quiet Hours.
