Your user settings have two integration tabs: MCP connects AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT to your listings, applicants, and documents. Address Book syncs your contacts to iPhone, iPad, and Android.
What the AI integration does: Your AI assistant can read Locari data and execute actions — for example evaluate an applicant or edit a listing — using the same command set Locari uses internally. What you decide: Which assistant you grant access to, and you can disconnect any connection with one click at any time.

How To
Connect an AI assistant
- Open your user settings and switch to the MCP tab.
- Select your assistant: Claude or ChatGPT.
- Follow the setup guide: paste the address
https://locari.ai/api/mcp. - Your browser opens for sign-in — no tokens or passwords needed (OAuth).
Example: The Bauer family uses Claude and asks: "Which applicants for Musterstr. 12 meet all requirements?" — Claude replies with the current status pulled directly from Locari. Emails to applicants, rejections and deleting are only carried out by Locari after your approval.
What the AI assistant can see: Listings, applicants, documents, viewing appointments, and notes in your account. What you control: You grant access and can disconnect it again at any time.
Manage connections
- Open your user settings → MCP.
- The list shows all connections with the assistant's name, connection date and time of last use.
- Click "Disconnect" to the right of a connection to revoke access immediately.
Sync address book
- Open your user settings and switch to the Address Book tab.
- Click New Device and give it a device name (e.g. "iPhone Müller").
- The password is shown only once — copy it immediately.
- Follow the setup guide for your device: iPhone and iPad via QR code, Android with DAVx5 using the server URL.
To remove a device, use the three-dot menu next to its entry.
Views and Fields
Available AI clients
Locari supports setup with these assistants:
- Claude (Anthropic) — Connectors setting, paste the address
- ChatGPT (OpenAI) — Plugins page, paste the address
Both use OAuth — your browser opens once for sign-in. No re-authentication is needed as long as the connection remains active.
MCP connections (list)
- Assistant — name of the connected assistant (e.g. "Claude"), below it the connection date
- Last used — timestamp of the most recent activity for this connection
- Disconnect — revokes access immediately
Address Book (device table)
- Device name — label you chose for the device or app
- Active — indicates the device password is valid
- Last used — when the device last synced
- Actions — use the three-dot menu to remove the device
Privacy and Security
AI integrations — OAuth model: The connection between your AI assistant and Locari runs exclusively via OAuth. Your Locari password is never transmitted to the assistant. The assistant receives a time-limited access token that is revoked immediately when you disconnect the connection.
What the assistant can see: Only the data in your account — no access to other Locari customers.
Device passwords (address book): Each device gets its own password. If a device is lost, remove only that device — other devices remain unaffected.
