Blocked Senders (Listing)

View automatically or manually blocked email senders for a listing and unblock them when needed — without missing legitimate applicants.

This is the Blocked Senders tab on a listing (case level). It lists all email addresses blocked for this listing. For applicant details and communication status, see Applicant Details.

On this page you see which senders have been flagged as unwanted — either automatically by Locari AI or manually by your team. Incoming emails from blocked addresses are not processed as applications. You can unblock a sender at any time.

What Locari does automatically: Detect bulk senders, identified spam sources, and malformed email addresses and block them automatically. What you decide: Unblock senders manually or add new addresses to the block list.

How To

Unblock a sender

  1. Open the listing — select the Blocked Senders tab.
  2. Find the sender's row. Example: max.mustermann@example.com — blocked by AI on 08 May 2026, 3 emails retained.
  3. Click Unblock — a confirmation dialog appears.
  4. Confirm — all previously retained emails from this address are released for processing.

What the AI checks: Sending patterns, bounce rates, and spam indicators. Bulk senders are blocked automatically to keep your inbox clean. What you decide: Whether a sender should stay blocked or whether it is a legitimate applicant who was flagged by mistake.

Block a sender manually

  1. In the Emails tab, open an email from the unwanted sender.
  2. Use Actions → Block sender — a confirmation dialog appears.
  3. After confirmation, the sender appears in the Blocked Senders list.

Views and Fields

Each row shows:

  • Sender email — the blocked address
  • Block reason — auto-generated or manually entered
  • Type — "AI-detected" or "Manual"
  • Date — when the block was created
  • Blocked emails — number of messages retained since blocking
  • Actions — Unblock button

If the list is empty, the page shows: "All senders are allowed. There are no blocked senders for this rental case."

Audit and History

Every block and every unblock is recorded in the History tab of the listing with actor, timestamp, and sender email. Deleting the listing permanently removes all block entries.

Permissions and Multi-Select

  • Visible to: all team members of the owner account.
  • Unblock senders: all members.
  • Block senders manually: all members.
  • Delete listing (removes all blocks): administrators only — the action is irreversible.
  • Applicant overview: Applicant List — bulk rejection, filter by phase and status, sort by score.
